The individual in this position will ensure that every feature story, special issue or standalone issue assigned makes it online or into print factually correct, typo-free and adhering to the style. Additionally, the individual will work closely with copy staff to determine each day's priority and ensure that all copy deadlines are met in a timely manner

Qualifications
An enthusiasm for writing, reading and copy editing, although an inexperienced candidate could fill the position.

Working knowledge of AP style and/or some experience in adhering to a style guide is preferred.

A calm demeanor under pressure.
